Short Biography
Provataki Athina was born in Heraklion Crete in 1977. She holds a BSc degree as an Informatics Engineer from the Informatics Department of the Higher Technological Educational Institute of Thessaloniki and an MSc in “Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Systems” with specialization in “Information Systems Management” from the International Hellenic University. Her master thesis was titled “Malware Forensics Framework”. She has received an Award of Excellence and a scholarship by the International Hellenic University in recognition of outstanding academic performance in her MSc studies. She has worked as an Information Systems Analyst in the private sector and as Special Technical and Laboratory Staff in the Mathematics Department at the University of Ioannina, Greece. She is presently employed by the Greek Ministry of Education and Religion as an Informatics Teacher in Greek Secondary Educational Institutes.
